According to Vedas, TRIDEV BRAMHA,VISHNU,SHIVA who protects people………

SATI immolated herself into the yagna organised by her father DAKSHA PRAJAPATHI…. as he did not invited her daughter and son in law to yagna……..Wanting to visit her parents, relatives and childhood friends, Sati sought to rationalize this omission. She reasoned within herself that her parents had neglected to make a formal invitation to them only because as family such formality was unnecessary , she needed no invitation to visit her own mother and would go anyway. Sati has attended the yagna and her father insulted her husband lord shiva for marrying him against his will………

As Mahadev heard that sati immolated herself he carried her body to kailash parvath. God and goddess tried to stop him but they couldn’t…… MAHADEV was holding her body and forgot his duty towards people. LORD VISHNU used his SUDARSHAN CHAKRA then sati devi’s body cut pieces. After this, parts of her body fell into the earth at eighteen places….

In every peetam she gives darshan to devotees along with Kalabhairava…….
